Think of AI Agents as Synthetic Employees
Watch on
Your AI agents are synthetic employees 🤖 David Tyburski, CISO at Wynn Resorts, thinks "agentic" makes people freeze up. So he reframes it for his teams in language they already understand. "Language has power. It's a synthetic employee." Think about it: an agent has an owner. It has a job description — in agentic you call it a manifest. It has a role and responsibilities. It has data it needs access to. "Which is no different than a human. They're just moving faster." And that reframe unlocks everything. If a human employee's manager leaves, they get orphaned, and you assign them a new one. Same with agents. Does ownership go upstream? Lateral? Who picks it up? "The same processes work. It's just how fast can you do that." The point: you probably already have the playbook. You just have to run it at machine speed.
