Three fireside chats on how courts, plaintiffs, and insurers are writing the AI rules that legislatures haven't.
Description
At AIGovOps we say it constantly. AI governance is being defined case by case and courtroom by courtroom, not by legislatures.
State AI laws are getting blocked by federal judges before the ink dries. Plaintiff firms are filing faster than regulators can write rules, and the settlements are quietly setting the standard your compliance team will be held to next year. Insurers are repricing around all of it.
Meanwhile the tools that made filing a lawsuit expensive are getting cheap. Nobody has a good answer for what happens when the cost of bringing a claim drops toward zero.
Three fireside chats with people watching this from the inside. Bring questions. We are leaving real time for them.
What we'll get into
What belongs in an enterprise AI contract right now, and what founders keep leaving out
How insurance regulators are moving on AI, and what carriers will start demanding of the companies they cover
Where court decisions and settlements are setting de facto governance standards ahead of any statute
Whether the surge in AI-related filings is real or a talking point that outran its data
Is AI actually lowering the barrier to practicing law, or just the barrier to filing
How are law firms using AI effectively and how are they failing at using it
When the AI your company deployed makes the mistake, who writes the check
Format
Three fireside chats, 25 minutes each, with audience Q&A after every one. No slide decks. Doors and networking before.
Who should come
Founders shipping AI into regulated buyers. Engineering and product leaders who own a system that makes decisions about people. In-house counsel and compliance. Anyone who has been asked to sign something about AI and wasn't sure what they were signing.
