JetZero Builds Full-Size Blended-Wing Jet to Challenge Airbus and Boeing, Test Flight Planned for Late 2027
JetZero, a California startup, is building a full-size blended-wing demonstrator jet in the Mojave Desert, aiming to compete with Airbus and Boeing in the 200-plus-seat market. The test plane, partly funded by the U.S. Air Force and set to fly by the end of next year, could reduce fuel use by half and lead to commercial production starting in 2030 at a new North Carolina facility.
