Twin1 AI, a San Mateo-based provider of an AI-powered digital twin platform for knowledge workers, raised $20 million in a seed round to expand teams, scale enterprise coordination services, and accelerate product and go-to-market development. The round was co-led by Bessemer Venture Partners, Tribeca Venture Partners, and Aramco Ventures with multiple additional investors participating.

David Fox, the dealmaker who built Kirkland & Ellis into a $10.56 billion firm, co-founded Irving Technology, a software company powering a new AI-based law firm called Irving that combines a lawyer-owned firm with an investor-owned tech company to let outsiders own part of Big Law. The venture, run by fewer than 10 people, has raised seed funding from Narya Capital, Addition, former Kirkland chairman Jeff Hammes, and Antiportfolio Ventures, and its AI tooling performs at roughly the level of a strong senior associate.
A startup building the Harvey for patent law has raised $40 million
Patlytics, a startup automating the entire patent lifecycle, raised $40 million in a Series B led by SignalFire after growing revenue about 10x and securing more than 40% of AmLaw 100 firms. Founded by Paul Lee and Arthur Jen, the company targets specialized patent-law workflows and previously raised $25 million.
