The Clarks say the move was planned to access Dallas-area supply-chain talent and reflects personal ties to the region, not Washington tax policy.

Clark says the move was driven by talent, family and proximity to customers rather than taxes, and he warned that Seattle’s dominance in tech hubs isn’t guaranteed.
