Digital Biotechnologies, a Seattle-based subsidiary of Adaptive Biotechnologies, has raised up to $15 million in a Series A round to develop a novel clinical DNA sequencing technology. Adaptive will retain nearly half ownership as Digital Biotechnologies aims to create a high-accuracy, rapid, low-cost sequencing instrument for clinical use.
