Samsung Acquires Digital Health Platform Xealth for $115 Million to Expand Healthcare Offerings

Samsung acquired digital health startup Xealth for about $115 million to expand its presence in healthcare technology, planning to triple Xealth's team in Seattle. Xealth, founded by Mike McSherry and spun out of Providence Health in 2017, provides platforms for clinicians to prescribe and monitor digital health tools integrated with electronic medical records.
