Seattle-based startup Yesler, which offers a software platform to simplify lumber market transactions and analytics, has raised $5 million despite initial adoption challenges due to market volatility. Founded in 2019 and spun out of Pioneer Square Labs, Yesler's marketplace transactions grew tenfold this year amid a fragmented lumber industry ripe for disruption.
