Lassen Peak Raises $6M from Madrona to Advance Handheld Terahertz Weapon Detection Device

Lassen Peak, a Bellevue-based startup developing a handheld terahertz radar device for concealed weapon detection, raised $6 million from Madrona Venture Group, bringing its total funding to $32 million. The device aims to improve public safety by enabling law enforcement and others to detect weapons at a distance without physical pat-downs.
