Seattle Startup Lithos Secures $6.29M Seed to Expand Basalt-Based Carbon Removal for Agriculture

Seattle agtech startup Lithos raised $6.29 million in seed funding to scale its carbon removal technology that spreads crushed basalt rock on cropland to capture carbon and improve soil nutrients. The company, launched in March and serving over 1,000 acres, sells carbon credits to corporations and shares revenue with farmers.
