DroneSeed, a Seattle startup, uses FAA-approved heavy lift drones to replant forests over hundreds of acres damaged by wildfires in the U.S. Since 2019, it has reseeded thousands of acres and recently secured $36 million in venture capital to scale its efforts. Partnering with One Tree Planted, DroneSeed aims to support reforestation and benefit from growing carbon credit markets.
