Dopl Technologies raises $6.3M seed to pursue FDA clearance for Traverse remote robotic ultrasound platform
Bothell-based Dopl Technologies raised $6.3 million in seed funding from over a dozen investors to advance FDA clearance for its remote robotic ultrasound platform, including the Traverse scanner, Dopl Connect data platform and SonoFlex workflow solution. The company says the system enables sonographers to perform diagnostic ultrasounds remotely using existing hospital infrastructure, aiming to address workforce shortages and improve imaging access in rural and underserved areas.
