Seattle Tech Leaders Lead Coalition Urging Mayor Durkan to Enact Police Reforms Recommended by Community Police Commission

Hundreds of Seattle-area tech and business leaders formed the Washington Coalition of Businesses for Racial Justice to urge Mayor Jenny Durkan to implement police reforms, including increased transparency and curbing police union power. The coalition, founded by Rubica CEO Frances Dewing, supports reforms proposed by the Community Police Commission as an alternative to defunding the police.
