Shutterstock buys PicMonkey for $110M, adds 200,000 subscribers and ~3% of annual revenue

Shutterstock acquired Seattle-based PicMonkey for $110 million in cash, adding about 200,000 subscribers and an estimated 3% boost to annual revenue. PicMonkey, founded in 2012 with roughly 50 employees and $41 million raised previously, will continue its product while integrating Shutterstock stock photography.
