Taunt Raises $1.75M Seed Led by Foundry Group; Ben Gilbert Named Interim CEO

Taunt, a Seattle-based esports startup, raised $1.75M in a seed round led by Foundry Group with participation from Pioneer Square Labs founders, Vulcan Capital and angels, and named Ben Gilbert interim CEO. The company builds a data- and machine learning-driven social competition platform for esports fans and planned an alpha release around the League of Legends World Championship.
