Seattle startup Cloudentity named Jason Needham, ex-CloudCoreo and VMware multi-cloud security lead, as CEO and board member after a $13M Series A; Leafly hired Suresh Krishnaswamy as CFO as it prepares for a SPAC, and Microsoft CVP Chris Suh joined Cardlytics' board. Trevor Bedford, Frederick Matsen IV and David Veesler were named 2021 HHMI Investigators, each receiving roughly $9M over seven years.
Cloudentity raises $13M Series A led by ForgePoint to expand identity and authorization security
Seattle startup Cloudentity raised $13 million in a Series A round led by ForgePoint Capital to expand its identity and authorization security software used by Fortune 500 companies. Total funding to date is $15 million; ForgePoint’s Sean Cunningham will join the board.
