dbt Labs Acquires SDF Labs to Integrate Advanced SQL Static Analysis and Formal Reasoning
SDF Labs, founded two years ago to enhance SQL tooling with formal reasoning and static analysis, has been acquired by dbt Labs. This acquisition will integrate SDF’s advanced SQL analysis capabilities to overcome dbt’s previous limitations in understanding SQL only as strings.
