Roche has acquired Seattle DNA sequencing startup Stratos Genomics, maker of Sequencing By Expansion (SBX) technology; Stratos will operate as Roche Diagnostics Seattle with its 60 employees joining Roche. Financial terms were not disclosed; Stratos had raised over $60 million previously and Roche was an early investor.
