Carbon Robotics raised $30 million in a Series C led by Sozo Ventures to scale sales, manufacturing, and international expansion for its LaserWeeder, which has zapped 500 million weeds and will reach 17 U.S. states and three Canadian provinces in 2023.
IUNU raises $24M Series B led by Lewis & Clark Ventures to scale LUNA greenhouse crop-vision robots
IUNU, an agtech firm using its LUNA robotic system and computer vision to monitor greenhouse leafy greens, raised $24 million in a Series B led by Lewis & Clark Ventures to expand globally and boost R&D. The company says it works with a quarter of U.S. greenhouse leafy green growers, employs 60 people, and claims the industry’s largest production dataset to improve crop problem detection and harvest timing.
