Booking Holdings launches Vayo AI travel startup, pledges up to $100M to build inbox-based trip orchestration

Booking Holdings has launched Vayo, an AI travel startup that will receive up to $100 million in investment contingent on product progress and market conditions; travelers can join a waitlist for a free invite-only beta. Vayo, led by CEO Mike Fridgen and CTO Allen Chen, aggregates reservations from users’ inboxes (including competitors), monitors bookings for price drops and availability, and aims to act as a traveler-centric orchestrator across multiple booking channels.
