Portal Space Systems Raises $17.5M to Develop Solar Thermal Propulsion Spacecraft with 2026 Launch

Portal Space Systems raised $17.5 million in seed funding led by AlleyCorp to develop its Supernova spacecraft, which uses solar thermal propulsion for rapid orbital maneuvers. The company plans to demonstrate the technology with a launch scheduled for mid-2026.
